1947
The foundation at the power station in Ekebybro
Uno Rörick founded the company in 1947 in Ekebybro, just outside Köping, with Kohlswa Jernverk as its first customer. The start was modest but promising, and the company slowly began to grow.
1973
Expansion and New Workshops
The company's growth required larger premises. In 1973, a new workshop was built approx. 500 m upstream from the power station. This location quickly became too small, leading to a further expansion in 1986.
2000
Expansion and New Workshops
In the early 2000s, Rörick expanded to Västerås and Eskilstuna. In 2007, the 60th anniversary was celebrated with the opening of new premises in Köping, a festive event that attracted more visitors than expected.
2008
Acquisition and Investment in Industrial Service
In August 2008, Rörick was acquired by B&B Tools-owned Momentum. This was the start of an investment in industrial service and further development of the company.
2020
Expansion through Acquisition
After several strategic acquisitions, including the spindle service business from SKF and electromechanical service workshops from Assemblin El in 2020-2021, Rörick has established its own workshops in several cities such as Köping, Västerås, Gävle, Örebro and Gothenburg.
